'SMARANA' (REMEMBRANCE OF GOD) is the life-force of all devotional practices.it can be compared to the soul,while all other devotional practices can be compared to the body.if the soul leaves the body, of what use is the corpse that remains? Always remeber that if your mind is not absorbed in 'RUPDHYANA', all other spiritual practices amount to nothing.
