New Delhi. Deeply aggrieved by the mega floods responsible for wreaking havoc and devastation across Srinagar and most parts of south Kashmir that has left several thousands traumatised, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has donated Rupees Two Crores to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation work in the devastated state of Jammu & Kashmir.

Deeply aggrieved by the mega floods responsible for wreaking havoc and devastation across Srinagar and most parts of south Kashmir that has left several thousands traumatised, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has donated Rupees Two Crores to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation work in the devastated state of Jammu & Kashmir.
The representatives of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), a charitable
organisation founded by the late renowned spiritual leader Jagadguru
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, handed over the draft of Rupees Two Crores to
BJP President Amit Shah at BJP Headquarters in the national capital. The
representatives of JKP also conveyed deep condolences expressed by Dr
Vishakha Tripathi, President of JKP and Dr Shyama Tripathi and Dr
Krishna Tripathi to the victims and their families on this massive
destruction of human life and the heartbreaking devastation in the state
of J&K. A message from Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, President of JKP
urging the victims to have courage and unshakeable faith in god, and
praising the Indian Army for their valiant efforts in rescuing people
was also passed on to the BJP Chief.
Amit Shah thanked JKP and Dr Vishakha Tripathi for the contribution and said that J&K has suffered a major loss of human lives and property and it needed help from all quarters. He said that the amount donated by JKP would give succor to a lot of people who have seen the worst.
Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), founded by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the 5th original Jagadguru of this age, has been working tirelessly since the last 60 years for the welfare of humanity. In the past, the Parishat donated an amount of Rs. 1 Crore for the victims of Uttarakhand disaster, Rs. 10 Lacs for the aid of Bhuj Earthquake victims in the year 2001, Rs. 25 Lacs for Tsunami victims in 2004 and Rs. 2 Crore for Bihar flood victims in 2008. Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat also carries out various spiritual, philanthropic and humanitarian activities in order to serve the general public. Two fully functional multi-disciplinary hospitals have been established, and both provide thousands of poor villagers medical treatment and medicines completely Free of charge. A secular educational Institution is being financed and run by JKP, which provides underprivileged girls Free Education upto post graduation level.
